According to FOX Business, an industry insider said that Paul Atkins, who was nominated by Trump to serve as the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), recently said that he hoped that the current Republican SEC commissioner Hester Peirce, known as the "crypto mother", would lead the crypto monetary policy together with her colleague Mark Uyeda.

Hester Peirce Adopting a more friendly regulatory attitude towards cryptocurrencies and questioning the SEC's cryptocurrency related enforcement actions in the past.
